Let there be light!

We've just switched on a new website for our client, landscape lighting company Moonlighting. Founded and owned by Bermudian Anthony Montasarlo, Moonlighting specialises in designing and installing beautiful and creative outdoor lighting using the latest LED technology. The site we created for them reflects that with strong visual content and parallax scrolling for ease of use on touch devices.

Bermuda Motors site hits the road

This week we launched a redesign of the website for our client Bermuda Motors. We gave the site a cleaner, more dynamic look and feel by using more prominent imagery and video of products and services, especially a refresh of the Parts & Service area and staff photos (shot by our good friend John Manderson of Luminous Imaging). The site also reflected the company's reorganisation in bringing Island Cycles under the Bermuda Motors brand name. We also added online forms for direct sales inquiries by customers.

Take a new look at Bermuda Biographies

KML has been involved with the historical website Bermuda Biographies since it was launched by veteran journalist Meredith Ebbin in 2007. We recently gave the site a much-needed refresh, with new graphic content, including photo, video and audio galleries. Content will be added to the latter on a regular basis, as well as more biographies of Bermudians who have made a difference.

New site launched

We've just launched the website for a new client, Strategic Evaluation Consulting. The US-based company provides research and evaluation services for nonprofits and grant makers and wanted a fresh and distinctive look for their web presence. We created a site using parallax scrolling, which allows text to glide over images as the user goes down the page and makes it especially effective on tablets and smartphones.

Natural talent

For Bermudian artist Jervelle aka Jerome Stovell, we recently created a simple showcase that complemented the tone and texture of his unique "organic naturescapes".  The site was launched to coincide with the opening of his upcoming show, Organic Series 1 / Roots Rock Reggae, at the Bermuda Society of Arts from May 16-June 1, 2014. We will shortly be adding a section where visitors can order limited edition prints of Jervelle's work.

Executive posting

We're proud to announce the launch of our latest client site, for UK-based executive coaching service, Clarendon Wallace. The new firm has been set up by reinsurance executive Lorene Phillips, who was formerly based in Bermuda but has recently relocated to the UK.

As a new company, it was important that Clarendon Wallace had a strong and distinctive visual online presence and that the site clearly set out what services the company provides and what distinguishes them from competitors. The testimonials on the site reflect Lorene's successful approach with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

We wish Lorene and Clarendon Wallace every success!

Branding Deep Blue

We recently helped our good friend Jeremy Deacon with a branding project for his new company, Deep Blue Communications. We created a distinctive logo and identity, along with a website. Jeremy's brief was for a clean, classy design and he was delighted with the end product which is sparse and simple, yet delivers a strong graphic impact. The easy-to-use Squarespace Content Management System will enable Jeremy to easily add content, such as client profiles and blog posts as his business grows.
